Obviously, a lot is going on for Rafinha, and he has to decide which opportunities he is going to take advantage of and see which will be offered to him. Over the course of the next week or so hopefully things will become clearer for him and personally I hope that he stays here in the United States. I think he has a lot to offer the game here and it would be a shame if he ends up going back to Brazil. Rafinha plays beautiful soccer, the kind that the rest of the world aspires to. He has terrific skills and can do a lot for the game here in the United States, beyond just playing for a club. Of course, he needs to start there first though and I urge anyone reading this to contact their local professional club and ask them to give Rafinha a chance. This is not an internet hoax. Rafinha is real and is for real. He can play and I think anyone who truly watches him play will appreciate that.
We are actually going to be at the New York Red Bulls vs Real Salt Lake game on Saturday night April 18th at Giants Stadium in New Jersey to watch the game. If anyone would like to meet Rafinha in person just let me know.
