U.S. 3 - 0 Trinidad and Tobago highlights and commentary

I have to hand it to Bob Bradley and the U.S. National Team, they really came through and took care of business with the 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago. We even got to see a goal from Brian Ching so you know it was a terrific night. Clint Dempsey got his 4th goal in 4 matches. The defense looked really solid and Michael Bradley took his European success and showed what the hype was all about with a nice goal.

As good as the team can feel after this win, I still think there is a lot of work to do and that there are causes for concern in each area of the team. We have to see this group of players do it over the long haul and not just in one game. We also need to see this level of performance against a really talented team, and not a Trinidad team that obviously is in transition with a new generation of players coming through their system.

I'd still like to see players like Jozy Altidore, Freddy Adu, and Kenny Cooper (to name a few) given a run in the national team or at least brought into the squad. Going forward perhaps we will see this, but for now Bob Bradley has to be given a chance to show what he can do with this team and see where he can lead them. I really think that if the team can pull together and start to click that it can be a force at the next World Cup, but we have a long way to go before that is even a realistic discussion.
