Michael Bradley to Borussia Mönchengladbach - analysis
Michael Bradley's move from Heerenveen in the Dutch League to Borussia Mönchengladbach in the German Bundesliga is a great move. It is a step up for Bradley in terms of competition, and after the success he had last season its the next logical step for him. Many Dutch players follow this path of moving to a club in the Bundesliga for this exact same reason. Its important though in Michael's development to make sure that he maintains a place in the starting lineup so that he can get the opportunities that he needs to continue to progress as a player. It will be exciting for him though to play against so many big clubs and also help to reestablish Borussia Mönchengladbach as a top club in the Bundesliga as they have bounced up and down between the top 2 divisions in recent years. They do seem to have recruited some other talented players though and with a win over Werder Bremen last Saturday are off to a good start this season.
