Personally, I think its a sad state of affairs when the prevailing thought at a club like Newcastle United is that Dennis Wise knows more about football then Kevin Keegan. Kevin Keegan has forgotten more about football then Dennis Wise will ever know and for the administrators at Newcastle to seriously think that Keegan would stay on when he had no real control over his squad is ridiculous. As former manager Glenn Roeder describes in this article on ESPN, its the Newcastle fans who provide such great support and are the ones who are made to suffer.
