What is it about Carlos Tevez that he loses his cool when he puts on the Argentina jersey? He was sent off today in the match against Paraguay for the second time in 3 matches as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. This is a great result for Paraguay as they continue to lead the South American qualifying group and got a vital result in Buenos Aires. Plus they accomplished this without their top forward Roque Santa Cruz as the Blackburn Rovers forward was injured and unable to play.
I still don't understand though how Tevez comes off as the perfect player in England, a passionate, hard working player who will run endlessly and chase every ball for his team. Once he puts on the Argentina jersey though he turns into this madman who can't control his emotions and does things to hurt his team like getting red cards. You can't give Alex Ferguson credit for this either. Tevez played the much more controlled way when he played for West Ham United too. I also noticed that he played more of the madman style when he played in Argentina and Brazil prior to coming to England. In fact, I didn't think he would succeed at all in England because of it.
Well talent will get you far, but only so far, especially with the Argentian national team. If Tevez wants to keep his place as a starting forward he had better learn to control his emotions or he'll be watching the games from the bench as one of the many talented Argentian forwards will be playing instead of him.
