If Ashley Young is
worth £30 million then I'm worth £50 million and I'll through in the rights to Pro Soccer Weekly. Martin O'Neill is crazy if he thinks he can get that much a fringe player on the England team that can't even make it to the Euro 2008 tournament and is drawing 2-2 with a weakened Czech Republic team. For £30 million, plenty of better players can be bought, lets see how much Robinho goes for if and when his move to Chelsea goes through or Arshavin to Spurs. Who wouldn't rather have one of those players then Ashley Young? I'd rather even give O'Neill the amount he was asking for Gareth Barry. Perhaps I'm wrong and Ashley Young will develop this season into a star, but I just don't think he's THAT good.
