Chuck Culpepper a Renaissance Man

I read this recent article in the New York Times about Chuck Culpepper, a relatively well known American sports reporter who moved to England and got caught up with the amount of interest in soccer over there so he decided to become attached to Portsmouth F.C., following them around and watching all of their games so that he could write a book about his experiences. He explains how he really didn't know much about the culture of soccer in England and how it had such a huge impact upon him as a sports writer and fan. It sounds like an interesting story and if you are interested the book is pretty cheap. You can find it here on Amazon.
