Gareth Barry should stay at Aston Villa

Just from looking at this latest report from ESPN on the whole Gareth Barry transfer saga and it is apparent to me that he really should stay with Aston Villa. I know that he would like to move to Liverpool because he feels that it represents a better opportunity to challenge for major trophies, but he is obviously a hero at Villa. They are also a very big club and if Martin O'Neill is given enough support financially, it won't be long before they too are challenging for major trophies. He is building a young and powerful squad, and if I were Gareth Barry I would stay on too lead that group forward. Spending 10 years at a club is rare these days, and it shouldn't be looked upon lightly. Gareth Barry is the face of Aston Villa and he should remain there in that role.
